Gary Moss
Mr. Moss was previously Chief Operating Officer of IMAX Corporation (IMAX-NYSE) where he was responsible for global operations, strategic planning, corporate development and innovation in a high growth, results driven environment. His specific areas of responsibility were sales, marketing, theatre operations, technology, HR, strategic planning and post production. Implementation of company-wide policies and procedures (including the selection of SAP to replace out-dated systems), coupled with creative deal structures, resulted in record revenues and profit, particularly from emerging markets.
Moss was the lead business negotiator for cutting edge technology deal licensed from Kodak, which will enable competitive differentiation for the next generation of laser projection equipment.
Prior to IMAX, Moss was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Live Nation Artists, the successor to Concert Productions International (CPI), a major world-wide concert promoter. He was also Vice President of Finance with EMI Music Canada Inc. for nearly a decade, and Vice President of Finance with Sega of Canada Inc. Mr. Moss is a Chartered Accountant and received his Bachelors of Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.
Clifford G. Hunt
Cliff Hunt, is co-founder of YANGAROO and was Chairman of the Board for 13 years. Hunt is responsible for driving market penetration, focused on the Entertainment Division, and overall strategic development and planning for YANGAROO.
Prior to YANGAROO, Hunt spent over 25 years in the Music Business, working with some of Canada's most successful artists both domestically and internationally. Hunt has negotiated over 35 major International record deals and was instrumental in coordinating world-wide tours for his artists.
He began his career as a musician and recording artist, and then as an agent for Concept 376 Ltd., booking some of the top concert artists of the day such as, The Guess Who, April Wine, and Lighthouse. Hunt also launched and founded his own record production and management company, Hunt Management Inc. to develop, promote and manage numerous JUNO nominated and winning recording artists.
Hunt was also Associate Producer for the Canadian National Exhibition Grandstand Shows, which included some of the biggest names in show business from Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope to The Beach Boys, The Eagles, and Ray Charles.
Hunt has lectured at various Universities and Colleges, his writings have been published in Fortune Magazine/CNN, he is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and currently sits on the Advisory Board of Linus Entertainment.
Richard Klosa
Richard Klosa is a serial entrepreneur and digital media innovator. He brings more than 10 years of IT development and management experience to the YANGAROO team.
In his previous role as Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of J!VE Media Technologies Inc., Richard led his team to a 2002 Canadian New Media Award for 'Most Promising Company' and recognition from the Branham Group as one of the Top 25 Up and Comers. Richard led the development of one of the first enterprise level digital rights and content syndication systems for digital media assets through decentralized and peer based networks and authored a definitive book on the subject entitled "Building A Working Revenue Model For The Digital Distribution Of Copyrighted Media" (1999).
More recently, Richard has worked with several unique and innovative organizations, focused on providing solutions across a broad range of industries. As the Vice President of Technology at Cubic Health Inc., Richard architected and led the development of the 'Cubic Health Canadian Drug Database™', a comprehensive reporting and analytics system designed to aid Canadian employers in managing their prescription drug benefit.
As the Director of Development at Idealogical Systems, he helped establish and manage a diverse development team focused on building software solutions for mid-sized private and public sector groups, from requirements through to fruition.
Over the past four years, Richard has also focused his time on several leading edge proof-of-concept development projects, including work on an MPEG-4 based Micro-Payment client/server application, an Open Media Distribution Server (web services enabled application for use with home media centers) and an Automated Media Cataloging & Tracking solution utilizing the MPEG-7 framework.
Richard has a passion for the music business. He has enjoyed distinction as a Dance Music producer, having produced and remixed several Gold and Platinum selling records. He enjoys playing drums, keyboard and bass.
Richard graduated from Ryerson University's Radio & Television arts program with an Honours B.A.A and is a certified PMP and Solutions Developer.
Karen Dealy
Karen Dealy, President of US Advertising Operations, brings over 25 years of sales and marketing experience across multiple sectors, including digital technology services, broadcast cable and network media, and advertising. During her seven years with DG FastChannel, Inc., as a member of the executive management team, she successfully deployed new digital technology and content delivery strategies while driving adoption for the electronic distribution of media content across the broadcast platform, and consolidated the sales and marketing team to move revenue from a hardware to a software based model. Prior to joining DG FastChannel, Ms. Dealy served as the Senior Vice President of Affiliate marketing at Premiere Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications.
She has also held senior management positions at AMFM Radio Networks, and ABC Radio Networks. Ms. Dealy received her MBA from the Simmons School of Management, as part of a special ABC-sponsored executive management program. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University in advertising and marketing.
